PRODUCT CARE
Before first wear, we recommend applying a protective spray suited to the material of your shoes. Always test any product on a small, discreet area first and follow the care product’s instructions.
After wear, gently remove surface dust or marks with a soft, dry cloth. Allow footwear to air naturally before storing, away from direct sunlight, heat and moisture. To help maintain its shape, store each pair in its original box or dust bag with the provided tissue or shoe supports.
Avoid wearing delicate footwear in wet weather or on rough surfaces, as exposure to water, oils, cosmetics and abrasive materials may cause permanent marking or damage.
LEATHER
Leather is a natural material and some variation in tone, texture and finish is part of what makes it special. With the right care, your shoes and accessories will soften and wear beautifully over time.
If your leather needs a refresh, allow any marks to dry completely before cleaning. Once dry, use a soft cloth with slow, gentle motions to lift away any dirt — avoid applying pressure on the leather. Hardware and metal detailing can be wiped clean with a microfibre or soft cloth.
If your leather comes into contact with water, pat dry with a soft cloth as soon as possible and allow to air dry naturally, away from direct heat. Stuffing with tissue while drying will help your shoes hold their shape.
SUEDE
Use a soft suede brush to gently lift the nap and remove surface dust, brushing in one direction. For light marks, use a specialist suede eraser or cleaner.
Avoid contact with water, oils and dark fabrics that may transfer colour. We recommend applying a suede protector before wear and reapplying as needed.
PATENT LEATHER
Wipe patent leather gently with a clean, soft cloth. Avoid contact with darker materials, plastics and printed surfaces, as colour transfer may occur and can be permanent.
Store patent styles separately from other footwear to protect their high-shine finish.
METALLIC AND WOVEN FINISHES
Metallic, woven and embellished finishes require delicate care. Avoid rubbing, snagging and contact with rough surfaces, as this may affect the finish or detailing.
Clean gently with a soft, dry cloth and do not apply standard leather creams or cleaning products unless they are specifically designed for the material.
BAGS
When not in use, store your BY WREN bag in its dust bag, lightly filled with clean tissue paper to help retain its shape. Keep straps and hardware positioned carefully to avoid marking the surface.
Avoid overfilling, prolonged sunlight and contact with water, oils, cosmetics, perfume and rough surfaces. If your bag becomes wet, gently blot with a soft cloth and allow it to dry naturally.
